each ring is designed by stuart moore — 'designs of the decade', platinum guild international, "the eames chairs of rings" — and hand-fabricated in germany from solid platinum or 18k rose or yellow gold. forged rather than cast, the metal holds twice the usual hardness: strength enough to suspend a center stone and grip a row of accents for decades.
